Police impersonator scams businesses in Durham
Deputies are investigating reports from employees at several businesses who said someone impersonating a law enforcement officer entered the business and informs them that the manager has been arrested.

The imposter said the manager had requested money from the business funds or from the employees in order to post bond.
Anyone who has been the victim of this crime is asked to call 919-560-0900 or 911 when the fraud occurs.
