Police identify Durham shooting victim
Durham police identified Monday a man who was found shot to death on the 1300 block of Ivy Street early Saturday.
Posted — UpdatedOfficers were called out to a disturbance involving weapons in the area around 4:40 a.m., police said.
Juan Castillo, 26, of Bingham Street in Durham, was found in the back of a Ford pickup truck. He had been shot in the chest, and was later pronounced dead at Duke Hospital.
No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing.
