Police: Cary man tries to steal food from fridge
A Cary man faces charges for breaking into an apartment and attempting to steal food from a refrigerator.

CARY, N.C. — Police say a Cary man broke into an apartment and attempted to steal food from a refrigerator.
James Deal, 49, of 312 Bargate Drive Apt. B, is accused of using a screwdriver to pry his way into an apartment late Saturday on the same street as his residence.
The tenant was sleeping at the time of the break-in, according to the arrest warrant.
Deal was being held Sunday in the Wake County Jail.
According to state Department of Correction records, Deal has convictions for drug offenses in North and South Carolina.
