Police arrest one of Fayetteville's 'most wanted'
Fayetteville police conducting a traffic stop Saturday identified and arrested a man wanted for more than a dozen robberies at local stores.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police conducting a traffic stop Saturday identified and arrested a man wanted for more than a dozen robberies at local stores.
Harold Ronald Davis, 44, was one of Fayetteville's most wanted for what police charge were his roles in about a dozen robberies of convenience and grocery stores, including Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Family Dollar, Big Lots and Food Lion stores.
He was taken to the Cumberland County Jail and held on a $7,500 secured bond.
Davis has been convicted of burglary, breaking-and-entering or larceny nine times since 1981, according to state Department of Correction records. He was most recently released from jail in November 2007. He has also been convicted of second-degree kidnapping.
