Police: 33-year-old man shot, killed at Sanford home
Authorities on Thursday morning identified a man who was shot and killed Wednesday night at his home in Sanford.

SANFORD, N.C. — Authorities on Thursday morning identified a man who was shot and killed the night before at his home in Sanford.
Sanford police said officers responded around 10 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Primrose Lane. When they arrived, officers found Franklin Bowden III, 33, who had been shot and was lying in the driveway.
Bowden was unresponsive, police said, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
