Person injured, houses hit with bullets in southeast Raleigh shooting

Raleigh police said that a man was shot several times on Lunar Drive just after 9 p.m.

The man was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle and dropped off, police said. The person’s condition was unknown.

Several homes in the area were hit by bullets and a suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a white vehicle.

Authorities did not say what prompted the shooting.
