Person barricades self in Chapel Hill home

— Chapel Hill police surrounded a house in Southern Village on Wednesday afternoon, where a person was barricaded. The incident ended by 4:30 p.m.

Police did not release the person's name or say why the person was barricaded in the home in the 1000 block of Highgrove Drive.

Two roads were temporarily closed, and Culbreth Middle School was put on lockdown, which has since been lifted.

No other information was released.

    It's Chapel Hill! If someone is heard arguing on Rosemary the CHPD are afraid. In SV they come out guns drawn then go hide in the community provided police station until their told to go generate revenue from soccer moms in the community not fully stopping at stop signs! Really?? How is this news?
