Pedestrian struck, killed near Willow Spring
A car struck and killed a pedestrian walking on Old Stage Road near Willow Spring Thursday night, according to troopers.
Posted — UpdatedWILLOW SPRINGS, N.C. — A car struck and killed a pedestrian walking on Old Stage Road near Willow Spring Thursday night, according to troopers.
David Barbour was walking north near Bud Lipscomb Road around 11:30 p.m. when a car hit him. He was wearing dark clothing, troopers said.
The driver, whose name was not released, won't be charged in Barbour's death. However, the driver was cited for driving with a suspended license, troopers said. No other information was released.
