Pedestrian struck in Chapel Hill
A vehicle struck a pedestrian on Franklin Street on Monday evening, and the person was taken to UNC Hospitals with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, Chapel Hill police said.

The names of the pedestrian and driver were not released. The crash happened at about 6:20 p.m. in the intersection of Columbia Street. No other information was released.
