The trucker is absolutely not to blame. What the media does need to look at is why this indivdual was walking down the highway. The Nash County jail and the Middlesex Police department need to answer some questions!

For all who may blame the truck that did not stop.

I wasn't actually blaming the trucker.

This is so so SAD. For this family out goes my prayers. For all who may blame the truck that did not stop...my husband is a truck driver and he has stated in the dead of night they sadly "hit things" all the time and have no clue as to what. Not because they are speeding...because the truck is so powerful and alot of roads are not well lit (like that part of 64 is...) He referred me to the video that used to be posted on Youtube of the trucking team that pulled up at a rest stop at daybreak...with a dead buck stuck in the grill. They had hit something at around 3 a.m. and did not find out what it was until the stop.

As big as an 18-wheeler is ...the trucker probably didn't even realize he/she drove over the individual?

This is so sad for all. Sure there is a family and friends in mourning and the drivers who had experienced a tragety. Prayers for all , including those who attended the scene..We tend to forget them!
