Pair sought in Durham robbery, shooting

Police were searching for two men Thursday in connection with a robbery and shooting that left a bystander with a minor injury.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police were searching for two men Thursday in connection with a robbery and shooting that left a bystander with a minor injury.

Two men fired shots while fleeing a robbery in the 300 block of South Guthrie Avenue at about noon, police said. One shot hit a car parked on Angier Avenue, grazing a man in the car, and another shot hit a second car driving down the street.

The wounded man was treated at the scene, police said. No other injuries were reported.
