FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Cumberland County investigators arrested two men over the weekend on charges they sold counterfeit items, authorities said Monday.

Mark Vincent Johnson, 41, of 713 St. George Road in Raleigh, was charged with criminal use of a counterfeit trademark. Anthony Darnell Rhem, 38, who claims he is homeless, was charged with recording of recorded sounds and distribution and with retailing recorded devices.

Investigators said Johnson was selling counterfeit clothing under the designer names of Nike, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Timberland and Polo from a business on Bragg Boulevard.

In a separate case, investigators said Rhem was bootlegging videos and music compact discs in the business next to Johnson's store.
