Three people were walking along Jones Ferry Road near Davie Road at about 2 a.m. when a vehicle drove up and shots were fired from the vehicle at the pedestrians, police said.

<b>CARRBORO, N.C.</b> — One person was wounded early Thursday in a drive-by shooting in Carrboro, police said.

One person was shot and was treated at UNC Hospitals and released.

The vehicle was described as a dark-colored, four-door sedan with tinted windows.
