BURLINGTON, N.C. — One man was killed and another man was injured during a shooting early Sunday morning at a Burlington hotel, according to the Burlington Police Department.

Police found Raphael Devante Currie, 24, and David Israel Williams, 24, both of Burlington, at the Quality Inn at 2444 Maple Avenue around 2:30 Sunday morning. Both men had gunshot wounds, according to a press release.

The men were transported to Alamance Regional Medical Center, where Williams died. Currie was then flown to a local hospital where he remains with life-threatening injuries, police said.
