Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police say one person was shot in the leg Monday evening when someone fired gunshots into a crowd of people on North Carver Street.
The victim, whose name wasn't released, is expected to be OK.
Investigators are still looking for a suspect but had limited information early Tuesday.

Let me guess…no one “properly trained and licensed to carry a firearm would” accidently fire gun while cleaning it, transporting it, hunting with it, etc? (sometime even at a person) Being “trained” does not remove the human element of chance / panic / emotion. Guess ‘friendly fire’ never happens at war either because our soldiers are some of the best trained warriors on the planet…
