A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting in the front yard of a Durham home Sunday evening, police said.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting in the front yard of a Durham home Sunday evening, police said.

The man, whose name hasn't been released, was shot in the hip and buttocks at 802 Massey Ave. shortly before 6 p.m. He was taken to Duke University Hospital.

Police said they don't know they motive for the shooting and have not caught the suspected shooter.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Durham Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that solve crimes.
