Man fights for life after Durham shooting

A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting in the front yard of a Durham home Sunday evening, police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting in the front yard of a Durham home Sunday evening, police said.

The man, whose name hasn't been released, was shot in the hip and buttocks at 802 Massey Ave. shortly before 6 p.m. He was taken to Duke University Hospital.

Police said they don't know they motive for the shooting and have not caught the suspected shooter.
