Students of South Johnston High School will likely be surprised to see what their teachers and staff were up to after early release Thursday.

The school employees and administrators filmed a hip hop music video featuring dancing staff and teachers, promising to "take their sleds down to 'ol Joco and ride until they find that snow."

The song, called "Ol' JoCo Road," is a parody of "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus.

The funny video is gaining popularity online, gaining hundreds of shares since it was posted only a few hours ago.

Some of the lyrics include:

Schoolin’ on the daily
Since I was a baby
Could I get a break wid this
Weather comin’ maybe County makes the call
But i know it’s gon’ fall
Come Friday mornin’ there’ll be
No school for us all.

The school posted a message along with the video, saying, "About every five years comes a well-anticipated snow in the south and an opportunity...cheers to JoCo Snow 2020!"

Teachers and staff recorded the video Thursday before the snowfall, but after all the students had left.

It was filmed by Greg Tart who is an English teacher at the school, and was filmed by Tabitha Ward who is a counselor.

This isn't the school's first time making a viral music video to celebrate a snow day. In 2015, they filmed a hilarious and dramatic parody version of Frozen's "Let it Go."

What will they create next time?

We'll just have to wait for the next big snow -- to see the next big show.
