Officials: Large house fire blocks road in Clayton

A large house fire prompted officials to temporarily close a segment of road in Clayton Monday morning.

Around 5:30 a.m., firefighters responded to a large fire at a home located at 1879 Vinson Road.

The road in front of the home will be blocked for about an hour, officials say.

Officials said four fire departments had to help extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported in the fire, as no one was in the home at the time of the incident.

    He did have insurance. I have the big house one person issue divorced/separated.

    One person living alone in a house that big? Hmm. Had to have had homeowner's insurance. Hope he didn't have any pets inside.
