Northgate Mall, along with Durham Public Schools and Duke University, will hold the annual Durham College Fair on Sunday.

According to a press release, representatives of 100 colleges and universities will be on hand to talk to parents and students and answer questions. You'll find information about two and four-year programs, large and small schools, urban and rural, majors, activities, costs, student life, financial aid and more.

Private and public schools from across North Carolina and beyond will offer information. Durham Public School high school counselors will also be there to help students navigate the fair.

“This is a great opportunity for students and their families to visit with a wide range of higher education institutions, all in one location,” said Nikki Baskin, a senior assistant director of Duke Undergraduate Admissions and one of the organizers of the annual event, in a press release.

It's scheduled for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, at Northgate Mall. It is free and open to the public. It's accessible from entrances 2, 4 and 8 at the mall at 1058 West Club Blvd. in Durham.

I always want to wrap up these posts about college admissions with this message: "Good luck!"
