RALEIGH, N.C. — For the second time in a week, a former North Carolina State University basketball player faces a criminal charge.

A Wake County deputy pulled over Anthony Montreace Grundy, 31, of 196 Mickelson Ridge Drive in Raleigh, on southbound U.S. Highway 401 on Wednesday and charged him with habitual impaired driving.

The arrest warrant states that Grundy was convicted of DWI in 2004 and twice last year. He also had a pending DWI case at the time of his arrest, according to court records.

No information about his blood-alcohol content in Wednesday's arrest was listed on the warrant.

His bond was set at $10,000.

Grundy played guard for the Wolfpack from 1998 to 2002.

On Sunday, former N.C. State guard Gavin Grant was charged in connection with a September home invasion.
