GREENVILLE, N.C. — About a dozen East Carolina University fans were injured Sunday when several rows of bleachers collapsed at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in Greenville.

The majority of the injuries were minor, but one person suffered a dislocated shoulder, officials said.

Ten rows of bleachers had to be removed during the game against Tulsa.

The seats were a part of new addition built over the summer.

ECU officials said they are talking with contractors to find out what happened.
