Raleigh wants to know how you would change liquor sales system

The City of Raleigh has posted an online survey to gauge public support for changes to the state’s Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) system.

The North Carolina state legislature is considering changes to the system, which could include ceding control to local municipalities or converting the public system to a private enterprise.

City leaders want to know what concerns residents have about the issuance of alcohol sales permits and zoning.

Responses to the survey will be accepted through Wednesday, and they will be included in the city's presentation to the legislature that day.
