Efland, N.C. — A 19-year-old woman from Efland was killed Saturday evening when her car ran off the road and hit a tree in Orange County, troopers said.
Ashley Ann Terry died from injuries sustained in the wreck, which occurred at about 10 p.m. on Interstate 85, near Interstate 40, troopers said.
Neither alcohol nor speed appeared to have been factors in the wreck, troopers said.
