Durham, N.C. — A Durham man was killed Sunday after a motorcycle wreck on Old Oxford Highway, the Durham Highway Patrol said.
Spencer Abersold, 54, was driving his motorcycle south on the highway when a van turned in front of him, troopers said. Abersold collided with the van.
Abersold died at Duke Hospital.
The driver of the van, Angelo Moore, 40, was not injured. A young boy, who was a passenger in the van, was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
Charges are pending.
