Gunmen rob NCSU students

North Carolina State University police said that a gunman robbed two male students on-campus along Morrill Drive shortly before midnight Friday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina State University police said that a gunman robbed two male students on-campus along Morrill Drive shortly before midnight Friday.

Two men, one armed with a handgun, approached the students near Warren Carrol Drive, according to a crime alert sent out to students by campus police. The men demanded the students hand over their personal property, including their wallets.

The crime alert to students said that the robbers fled in a white, four-door Volvo sedan. They were last seen on Western Boulevard.

No one was injured.

Both suspects were described as dark-complexioned men with thin builds, about 20 years old.

The first suspect was 5 feet 8 inches tall. He wore a beige hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a dark bandanna over his face. The second suspect was 6 feet tall. He wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
