Durham, N.C. — Members of the city council discussed the city’s budget shortfall over coffee with residents on Saturday.
The “Coffee with Council” event allowed citizens to weigh in on next year’s fiscal budget, which could be anywhere between $24 and 40 million.
About 50 people attended Saturday’s meeting at City Hall.
A similar meeting was held last month.
