Enfield, N.C. — Several people are facing felony dog fighting charges in Halifax County.
Deputies arrested nine people during the bust Sunday at an abandoned shed off Bellamy's Mill Road in Enfield.
About 20 people escaped into the woods, deputies said.
Three dogs were removed from the site. Several vehicles were also impounded.
The names of those arrested were not released Sunday.
