N.C. Residents Audition for ‘Big Brother’

Residents from across the state and southern Virginia auditioned Saturday for the CBS reality show “Big Brother” at The Roanoke Rapids Theater.

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — Residents from across the state and southern Virginia auditioned Saturday for the CBS reality show “Big Brother” at The Roanoke Rapids Theater.

More than 30 people from Raleigh, Fayetteville, Greenville and Kinston attended the audition. An additional audition for the show was also being held in Greenville.

“Big Brother,” which is in its ninth season, follows a group of strangers living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day, seven days a week. One by one, the house guests vote each other out of the house until at the end of three months, the last remaining house guest wins the grand prize of $500,000.
