Middlesex, N.C. — A burglar took a beating from a homeowner in Johnston County.
Investigators said Phillip White and another masked man broke into a home, tied up four people and stole money.
One victim escaped, chased White into the yard and beat him with a 2x4, investigators said.
White was arrested and taken to jail.
Investigators are looking for the other suspect.
