Man charged in fatal Granville hit-and-run
A 24-year-old man was charged Tuesday in a Monday hit-and-run in Granville County that killed a woman, authorities said.

CREEDMOOR, N.C. — A 24-year-old man was charged Tuesday in a Monday hit-and-run in Granville County that killed a woman, authorities said.
Nicholas Curtis Dillard was charged with felony hit-and-run causing serious injury or death and was being held in the Granville County jail under a $100,000 bond.
Linda Michalina, 71, was struck by a car on Munns Road near Creedmoor, not far from her home, authorities said. Troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to reports of someone lying on the side of the road, but they said she was already dead when they arrived.
