I'm meteorologist, Amy Wilmuth in the WRL severe weather center. We have quiet weather today about a 20% chance for rain. But if you look back to the west over Texas, there's another system that's headed our way and things are going to turn more unsettled starting tomorrow. Scattered storms will be possible tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening and we'll just keep those rain chances fairly high the weekend. So plan for scattered showers and storms through Sunday. It's not going to rain the entire weekend, but we do have decent rain chances for the entire weekend for today. It's only a 20% chance for rain, mainly in our northern counties. Later on this evening, we could see a stray shower or two, but it shouldn't be a big deal. And most of you are going to stay dry through the day today. If you are headed to the Cannes game to do some tailgating, it's going to be pretty nice. Only a 20% chance for rain. Temperatures will mainly be in the seventies, upper seventies by six o'clock down into the low seventies by eight o'clock. Looking ahead to Friday in the morning, it looks dry but then as we head into the afternoon, it becomes unsettled, we'll have scattered showers and thunderstorms as we head through the day on Friday and then overnight Friday into Saturday morning, we'll have a wave of showers and storm storms move through. So Saturday morning, we'll have some scattered showers around. And then as we get into the afternoon and evening, we'll have the potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms on Saturday. And it does look like we have the potential for some isolated severe storms. We have a level one risk for the entire area on Saturday. So keep that in mind as you're making your weekend plans, our explosions happening this weekend, we have the BM Bay festival happening this weekend. Um Just plan for some rain. It will rain for the entirety of those events, but we'll have scattered showers and storms throughout the events. Temperatures. Saturday will climb into the upper seventies, but then it will be cooler Sunday with high temperatures only in the upper sixties as we wrap up the weekend. So pretty unsettled through the weekend, we'll be dodging the showers and storms on and off. Looking ahead to next week. It's a quieter weather pattern. It looks pretty dry Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday highs will be in the mid seventies Monday and then we're back into the eighties, Tuesday and Wednesday.
