RALEIGH, N.C. — A missing 15-year-old Raleigh girl was found Tuesday, the same day she was reported missing, and is doing OK, according to Raleigh police.

Authorities said Maiah Shecaniah Aal-Anubia was found in the 2500 block of Milburnie Road around 1:30 p.m. She was unharmed.

An Amber Alert was issued for the girl Tuesday morning after her mother called 911 about disturbing text messages. The woman told dispatchers that her daughter took her cell phone and had been gone for several hours. The teen's father received a text message from the phone saying, "Daddy, help me. He is going to kill me," the woman told dispatchers.

Another text message sent to the teen's brother's cell phone read, "You ain't getting your daughter back."

After locating the teen, Raleigh police said no foul play occurred.

The investigation into the case is ongoing.

Maiah is a student at Broughton High School, according to Wake County public schools' officials.

The girl's mother told 911 dispatchers that it wasn't the first time her daughter ran away. According to 911 records released by Raleigh police, someone reported a missing juvenile from the family's residence on April 12.
