Congrats! From one PA Kid (Williamsport) and fellow PSU Alum (2010) to another!
Funny, as I am writing my final on the influence of TV for my Liberal Studies (master's) class at UNCW, I hear that you, a PA kid, were the first meteorologist at WRAL! 30 years ... we are getting old and I'm still in school... OMG!
Question: Did you have cable TV as a kid in Lancaster? We did in Williamsport as far back as I can remember, born in '56. All 12 channels called CATV.
Are you familiar with Channel 16 in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre? Joe Snedeker's morning weather, this guy is a riot, and his sister, Noreen Clark, and her husband, Tom, have the whole week's weather forecast covered in one family. My son-in-law loves Joe! I understand the Clark's daughter just got her meteorology degree from PSU.
Hope you have 30 more years of technological insight as, other than medicine, weather is where technology is best served. TV, on the other hand, well.... YucK!
Happy Anniversary, Greg! And thanx for a job very well done!
