— A man suspected of firing a shot that hit an unmarked car driven by the Durham chief of police was arrested Friday in Massachusetts, authorities said.

Tony (Anthony) “Big Red” Person, 27, of West Corporation Street in Durham, was the second person arrested in the case. Lebron “Gutta” Brown, 21, of Fidelity Drive in Durham, was taken into custody May 14. Both men were found in Lynn, Mass., with the help of local police and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Durham Police Chief Jose Lopez was driving near the intersection of South Roxboro and Dillard streets April 29 when a shot penetrated his windshield.

Lopez said he initially thought the sound was a car backfiring, but then saw someone firing from a passing car.

Lopez was not injured and was able to provide a description of the gunman to investigators.

"TruthBKnown, so it's the guy's hair-do that has everyone jumping on him? C'mon. Also according to folks here: these guy have baggy pants, are a burden on society and don't take responsibility for themselves...all this deduced from one picture. These are all code words for racism."

    No, they are not.

Racism is when you have a problem with someone due to their skin color. I have problems with certain people, not because of their skin color, but because of their appearance (how they dress, how they behave, etc.) It has no racial boundaries. I have just as much problem with people some would call "white trash" as anyone.

It's a simpleton argument to call it racism. It really is. I don't know how else to put it.

He has earned is right to prison. So courts send him on.

  • wildcat Jun 18, 2010

The court needs to make this man get a haircut. He sorta looks like a girl. In prison, some will love that.

I say we send them to Utah for target practice with the homeys. They are no different in my opinion

The guy in Utah, ask to be shot to death. There was other options, but he chose to be shot.

Parents if you would raise your child in the right way, then you will never have to worry about them being in trouble with the law or winding up in prison. Set some ground rules and regulations at 2 years up. Or better still anyone under 17 years of age. Don't allow your child to be in charge, you are the parent, so therefore you should be in charge.

Send these persons on to prison courts. They have done all they are supposed to do to get there. While in prison, they will learn all about authority and who is really in charge. They will love it.

Some goloers opinions vary when it comes to white christian 'militia' groups conspiring to kill police officers. "They are just very angry citizens and yada yada yada...." I say we send them to Utah for target practice with the homeys. They are no different in my opinion

imyourhighness69 asked "why would you call yourself (gutta)." Seriously & this is not to defend someone being called a name like that, but when you are a street dude you have to have a tough name if not for no other reason than to make folk think twice about messing with you even if you're not that kind of person. The other reason is that your just plain stupid, because why would you want a name that draws attention to you when you're involved in other things that are crime related. Oh well, to each his own & the consequences that come along with it.
