Fayetteville, N.C. — Cumberland County school officials have announced that students will be in classes two extra – but shortened – days to make up for this week’s winter storm closings.
Students will now have to go to school on two days they were supposed to have off, but they will get out two hours early.
Traditional calendar students will make up the days on Feb. 16 and April 10.
Students on the year-round calendar will make up the missed time on Feb. 16 and April 17.
There will be two-hour early releases on the make-up days for both traditional and year-round students.
