Man allegedly rapes woman, kidnaps her sons
Investigators say a man raped a woman and held her and her young sons against their will for three days.
Posted — UpdatedCasiano Aparicio-Juarez, 22, of 6003 Gamble Drive, faces charges of second-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping.
Aparicio-Juarez allegedly raped the victim in front of her two sons, ages 7 and 2, according the arrest warrants. Investigators say he then locked the family in a room and kept them there for three days.
Aparicio-Juarez was arrested Friday and was being held in the Wake County Jail Sunday afternoon under a $275,000 bond.
State Department of Correction records list Aparicio-Juarez as an absconder from parole supervision. He was given a years' probation after a November 2007 conviction for driving while impaired in Wake County.
Aparicio-Juarez appeared in court on the rape and kidnapping charges on Saturday. His first court appearance on the probation violation was set for Monday.
Warrants listed Aparicio-Juarez' occupation as a carpet layer.
