— Raleigh police have arrested four people in connection with the shooting death of a Fayetteville man.

Anthony Wayne Watson, 26, Raphiel Montrail Hunter, 27, Christine Nicole January, 22, all of 910 E. Martin St., and Jessica Ann Dixon, 22, are charged in the death of Ulice Graham, 63.

Police responded to the 200 block of Lincoln Court at about 11 p.m. Thursday, where they found Graham. Earlier reports from police referred to him only as an assault victim but did not say how he had been hurt.

Emergency workers took Graham to WakeMed, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators have not given a motive for the shooting.

For once I do not see pages of excuses. At least that is refreshing, best wishes to all the families. I hope this is the change Obama is speaking of because if it is not then this country has absolutely no hope.

Agreed, the folks (at least a majority of them) in D.C. and here in Raleigh may have started out with good intentions for CHANGES but got too bogged down with the back room dealings that go on to try to get things done that they promised. Subsequently nothing gets done because of that and bipartisan sniping. That'll happen again WHOMEVER is elected this time. It always does.

As JFK said ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country. No more excuses. Roll up your sleeves and pitch in. Throwing words around and arguing gets nothing done. And when nothing gets done, bad things happen to the innocents.

That would be you, me, that poor man and the countless others that we read about at this site everyday.

"Its very simple, DO NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA OR HILLARY."

I have never understood this. Why is something like this always thrown up there when the track record for the last 8 years hasn't improved this OR ANY situation LIKE THIS at all?

It's very simple...go out there yourself and a make a contribution to making things better, (ie volunteer in some of those neighborhoods to improve the situation locally, instead of throwing this tired old mantra out there whenever something bad happens)

Donate some time, something, anything to improve these situations. Make a difference in some child's life instead of singing this tired old song at every turn.

The changes in New Orleans and those areas certainly aren't coming from the empty promises in D.C. and their smaller local governments. People are volunteering to make changes happen. That's what it takes to get it all done. Even in this state. Just vote for whomever, then do it yourself. MAKE IT HAPPEN.

"On the streets it's actually a status symbol to be privileged to be the mother of an inmate's baby." G-MAN

Do you know that first hand or are you assuming? I've never heard of that but that certainly doesn't make your comment false. I hope no woman is that dumb...

The Modd's don't seem to like my comments today either. Sometimes the truth hurts. However, the statistics back up everything I have said about the relationship between welfare and crime. As long is there is one there will be the other. On the streets it's actually a status symbol to be privileged to be the mother of an inmate's baby. And the cycle continues.

It is amazing to see the common denominator in 95% of these crimes and have to be so careful to not point it out for fear of offending anyone. It is what it is and everyone that has access to media knows what I mean. It s going to get worse before it gets better if someone don t step up and make beklievers out of these parasites.

Its very simple, DO NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA OR HILLARY. Also within the state DO NOT VOTE FOR PURDUE. We need a new governor!!

I do wish we had some sort of 3 strike felony rule that would be mandatory life in prison. You look at these 2 guys rap sheet and see the pattern going back to their teen years. Wonder how many babies we are paying for that they have sired. If you can't fit into society maybe you should find a way to donate your organs..
