How long had she been there? Why wasn't she reported missing by her family unless they didn't check on her often enough. the elderly should be checked on daily, if anything to make sure that they are OK.

When the article was first printed publicly, it only said a woman was found in Chatham County. The second article said its possibly she was from the near by Residence. The third article gave name and verified she was from the Residence. Now, what is your gripe.lol

Yes, but I wish they would wait until they have more information before coming public.

WHY? What else does one need to know? It said she went for a walk and died of natural causes!

Unless something to the contrary comes out, I choose to believe this lady was taking a walk in the woods - something I do as often as I can - suffered a major coronary and passed away without saying a word or crying out in agony.
Gosh - that is exactly what happened to my Mom! Wasn't she lucky? I think so!

With absolute sympathy for the surviving family, I don't see anything sad here. If the natural causes story holdsm I would be thankful to go out this way.
I've lived to 86, I'm taking a stroll in the woods and I die.
Sounds like as good as it gets to me.
