Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run Denied Bond
Kenya Teveris Alston, 31, was denied bond on a murder charge in the Saturday-morning wreck that killed Matthew Paul Kraft.

A member of Alston's family, who was in court Tuesday, also broke down as the judge read aloud the charges against Alston. The woman screamed and fell to the floor. She was helped up by other family members and a deputy.
His friends planned to hold a vigil for him there Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., but because of weather, it has been moved to Kirk of Kildaire church on High Meadow Drive. More than 50 people are expected to attend.
