Police Seek Man, 46, in Slaying of Another Found in Road
Durham police want Gary Brady in the death of Derrick Burch, whose body was found Nov. 23.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police said Tuesday that they want Gary Brady, 46, for murder in a shooting death last week.
Brady, whose last known address was on Hardee Street, is being charged in the death of Derrick Burch, 44, of Spring Creek Drive. Police found Burch shot to death last Friday night near the intersection of Southgate and Driver streets.
Brady and Burch "had been involved in an ongoing dispute," police said, though they did not disclose what caused the dispute.
Detectives said they also want Brady on a charge of obtaining property by false pretense in another case.
