— A man died Sunday morning from injuries sustained when he was shot at a Zebulon home.

Antony Devon Judd, 19, of Wilson, was shot Saturday night at 3029 Rosinburg Road. He was transported by ambulance to WakeMed where he later died.

Warren Charles Clifford, 45, who lived at the home, was taken into custody, Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said.

According to Harrison, the shooting appeared to be a domestic dispute, because the two men apparently knew each other.

Clifford was charged with Judd's murder and was being held without bond.

From what I understand, on good authority, the younger man, father of the two month old child, was beating the child's mother. I too have heard nothing but praise about this man, from all who know him, including those he worked with. That he was kind, gentle, a wonderful man. The catalyst was the younger man beating the older man's daughter.

Before anyone judges this person, please have all your facts!!
The mother wasn't being beating and there kids where in good hand by this man.If you know this person you would had loved him!He would gave his shirt off his back and food from his table!!!!I KNOW THIS BECAUSE HE TOOK ME AND MY 2 KIDS INTO HIS FAMILY..

Mama's man shooting her kid....I wonder what precipitated this. Was the man beating up Mom and the kid tried to protect her? Was the kid mouthing off to his Mother and the man wasn't going to hear it? It's never a good combination when you have Mom's man lving in the home with her adult male children. Always a stuggle.

This is how rumors get started...This shooting had nothing to do with this young man's mother. No where in the article did it say that the boy's mother and the man that killed him had any type of relationship...This young man was his daughter's boyfriend and the father of her 2 month old child. So until you get all the facts stop making assumptions.

I agree Lynddsy...I always say it takes two to fight and the bigger person walks away. Leave one there who is there to fight with...him or herself.

Lyn, I agree, it is often much better to just walk away. Then again, there are times and issuse imprtant enough to fight for, however, it is rare that there is reason to shoot someone in lieu of a "dispute." Unfortunately, there are many people who do not have enough sense, or are mature enough, to know the difference.

The poor guy is only 19! I sure hope he recovers - I don't want to see yet another young life cut short.

when will people learn it's just soooo much better to walk away? killing this person has served no good purpose.
