Couple Weds at N.C. State Bell Tower

Mr. and Ms. Wuf took the week off from cheering on North Carolina State University's football team to celebrate the wedding of "die-hard fans" at the university's bell tower.

P.J. Robertson and Jeremy Nettesheim were married at the N.C. State Bell Tower shortly before 1 p.m. on Saturday. Around 140 guests – including the Wufs – attended.

Robertson said she represents the fourth generation of her family to graduate from N.C. State. Nettesheim also graduated from N.C. State in 2004.

Robertson described herself and her bridegroom as "die-hard fans" of the team. "We love the Wolfpack!" she exclaimed.

The couple decided to marry in the spring but was initially discouraged at the prospects of getting approval for a wedding at the bell tower.

"We did some research and found it to be quite a process," Robertson said. "We had to put in a permit application, and it had to be approved all the way up to the Chancellor."

Good news, though, came sooner than the couple expected.

"But after only about a week, we got the news, and we decided to go for it," Robertson said.
