FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayetteville couple has been charged with Grinch-like crimes in Ohio.
Authorities say John and Michelle Issa stole $5,000 worth of Christmas gifts left on doorsteps of Ohio homes.
Investigators say they stole parcels and checks delivered to homes by shippers and the U.S. Postal Service. The Issas face charges of felony grand theft.
Authorities recovered some gifts, including coats, dolls and a wristwatch. John Issa is a private at Fort Bragg.
