Party Hosts Could Be Liable

If you are serving alcohol at a party tonight, here's a good reason not to let your guests drink and drive: You can get sued if they have a wreck.

You may have heard that bartenders can be charged if they knew, or should have known, that they served a customer who was drunk. But, North Carolina's Attorney General says the same rule applies to private parties.

Easley says you should be on the lookout for guests who've had too much to drink, then find them a designated driver.
