Now there's a store where children can shop without grown-up around. Small children can shop for their parents without Mom and Dad hovering over them at the Kid's Market at Northgate Mall in Durham. Volunteersfrom the Duke Hospital Auxiliary help the kids with their shopping.
Volunteers work as sales clerks, helping kids find the right gift, atthe right "kids" price. Just like Mom or Dad, some kids pick out giftsthey know they'll get a chance to use later on.
It's a store where kids can't go wrong... they're guaranteed to find theright gift for everyone.
All the money the kids spend benefits Duke Children's Hospital. The Kid'sMarket is open now through Christmas Eve. You can contact the store at919-286-4407.
