FAYETTEVILLE — The brothers accused of gunning down two law officers in Cumberland County are being moved from the county jail Thursday morning.
Cumberland County Sheriff "Moose" Butler says he's transferring Tilmon and Kevin Golphin because of limited space and security concerns. Tilmon Golphin, 19, has already been moved to the Foothills Correctional Institute. His 17-year-old brother Kevin, is expected to be moved to a state prison within the next two days.
The Golphin brothers are accused of the first-degree murder of Sheriff's Deputy David Hathcock and Highway Patrol Trooper Ed Lowry.
