Golphin Brothers Moved to New Jail

FAYETTEVILLE — The brothers accused of gunning down two law officers in Cumberland Countyare being moved from the county jail Thursday morning.

Cumberland County Sheriff "Moose" Butler says he's transferring Tilmon andKevin Golphin because of limited space and security concerns. TilmonGolphin, 19, has already been moved to the Foothills Correctional Institute. His 17-year-old brother Kevin, is expected to be moved to astate prison within the next two days.

The Golphin brothers are accused of the first-degree murder of Sheriff'sDeputy David Hathcock and Highway Patrol Trooper Ed Lowry.
