Student Robbed at UNC Student Union

CHAPEL HILL — A UNC-Chapel Hill student worker was robbed at knife-point at the FrankPorter Graham Student Union Monday night. The student was not hurt, butthe suspect got away and campus police are asking for help in finding him.

At about 9:00 p.m., a food service employee was counting money when sheheard a knock at the door. The suspect opened the door and pulled a knifeon the student. Then he grabbed the money and fled on foot.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned black male with a lightmoustache, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. Hewas wearing a hat, a green Tommy Hilfiger shirt with gold embroidery andnavy pants.

Police are asking people with information about the crime to call UNCPolice at966-2120or CrimeStoppers at942-7515.
