Vandalism Found at High Schools

RALEIGH — Law enforcement officials are investigating two cases of vandalism to buses parked at local high schools over the weekend. Investigators think the same group hit both Leesville and Sanderson High Schools.
Wake County deputies and the City-County Bureau of Investigation dusted for fingerprints and combed the parking lot for clues at Leesville High last night.
Investigators say at least 10 -- and maybe as many as 20 -- buses have broken windows and missing mirrors.
Deputies said the vandals apparently attempted to set one bus on fire, but did not succeed.
The earliest estimates put the damage at about $500.
Deputies said they found a similar scene at Sanderson High Friday night.
