WASHINGTON, DC — The Air Force may not want to talk about all those U-F-O sightings in the1950's.
It seems they weren't so out of this world after all.
A C-I-A journal, Studies of Intelligence, says Air Force officials madeup all sorts of false stories about the sightings to cover up the flightsof super-secret spy planes.
One historian says the growing hysteria over the sightings prompted theAir Force to concoct the cover stories.
