EASLEY — A judge has ordered a Montgomery County hog farm closed. The farm,operated by N-G Purvis Farms, has a history of environmental problems. The most recent was last month when $1,000 fish died from a wastespill.
The farm has two weeks to clear all of its hogs off of the property andcannot resume operations until it obtains a permit from the state.
